Michael Marin, surgeon-in-chief at Mount Sinai Medical Center and chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, visited the production campus of Turkish medical device manufacturer INVAMED on Wednesday.
The visit marks a significant step in strengthening healthcare collaboration between Türkiye and the US and promoting the use of Turkish-produced medical devices in the American market, according to INVAMED.
INVAMED President Rasit Dinc expressed honor at hosting Marin, highlighting his global recognition in the medical device and healthcare industry for his profound knowledge and innovative perspective.
“The visit of such a respected mentor from Mount Sinai Health System is a testament to the quality of medical devices produced in Türkiye and their significant place in the international market,” Dinc said. He emphasized INVAMED’s commitment to producing innovative healthcare solutions, noting that the visit strengthens healthcare collaboration between the two countries and provides an opportunity for Turkish medical devices to gain wider acceptance in the American healthcare sector.
“The level Türkiye has reached in the medical device industry and its successes in the global market continue to attract the attention of the international healthcare community,” Dinc added.
